Joanne's primary focus in Neuoromuscular and Structural Bodywork providing her clients with the extensive experience and the up-to-date knowledge in the treatment, education and rehabilitation of chronic pain, postural distortions and soft tissue injuries.

She addresses specific problems that respond successfully to clinical Neuromuscular Therapy including postural distortions, Scoliosis, TMJ dysfunction, arm and hand pain, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder and Tennis elbow. Joanne also addresses Plantar fascitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, athletic and motor vehicle injuries, whiplash, migraine headaches, and mid and lower back pain.

Joanne graduated from a North Carolina Neuromuscular and Structural Bodywork Massage School in 2001. She has been associated with Davidson Therapeutic Massage since September of 2005, and in private practice as a massage therapist for eight years.

The primary focus of Judith's extensive training has been Neuromuscular Massage and Myofascial Release. Judith has established herself as a therapist who combines  knowledge and interest in anatomy, bone and muscle pathologies with massage therapy to provide relief from pain. She treats a variety of conditions including back and neck strain, shoulder strain, hip and leg problems, postural anomalies and pain caused by autoimmune disease.

A strong interest in working with athletes has helped Judy build a client base of high school and collegiate athletes to older ahtletes trying to maintain a level of healthy activity. Her work encompasses all aspects of Sports Massage, including pre and post-event massage and sports injury recovery.

Judith chose Neuromuscular Massage as a second career after receiving a severe whiplash injury in a car accident in 2001. Although she sought treatment from a variety of sources, her greatest relief came at the hands of a Neuromuscular Therapist. Her personal experience combined with a desire to bring positive change to people's lives led her to massage therapy school.

Judith has lived and worked in the Lake Norman area for 15 years.

Cindy combines her nursing background with her expertise in soft tissue therapy to effectively treat back and neck pain, Fibromyalgia, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica and other acute and chronic conditions. She applies a multi-modality approach, combining muscle release techniques, Myokinesthtetic Therapy and Visceral Massage to bring relief to her clients.

Cindy attended Southeastern School of Massage with a focus on Neuromuscular Massage after enjoying a rewarding career in both hospital and home care nursing. Following her graduation in 1997, Cindy helped establish a successful Neuromuscular Massage clinic where she practiced for 8 years until she and business partner Don Tendler opened the doors of Davidson Therapeutic Massage in June 2005.

Don's therapeutic focus is on deep tissue massage and he became certified in the St. John method of Neuromuscular Therapy in 1994. He has also studied structural bodywork, including Postural Integration, Myofascial Release and Myoskeletal Alignment. He combines these therapies and his extensive experience in Sports Massage to address a wide variety of soft tissue injuries and postural stresses and related myofascial pain.

Don received his initital massage therapy training at the Swedish Institute in New York City, the oldest established school of massage in the United States. After graduating in 1988, Don practiced massage in various venues including healthcare facilities, chiropractic offices and day spas before establishing a successful private practice in Manhattan. Don moved to the Lake Norman area in 2002. In June 2005, he and business partner Cindy Livingston opened the doors of Davidson Therapeutic Massage.
